Damn! I had shorts on last week and now there’s duck’s swimming on the path at Green Lake! Hanging out at the ‘Bux here with my girl- went to the most awesome Grammy 365 Songwriter Summit yesterday and met Women’s music pioneer Cris Williamson- she was a HUGE influence on me when I was like 13 years old- I taught myself to play hersong “Wild Things”- She did an AMAZING job at moderating a class on your artistic voice- we ALL have one…it made me think- really, when all is said and done- If you just do your best to notice/focus on truth and beauty- you’ll be alright….~
I’m working on gearing up to createa new EP this summer and need YOUR help to make it a reality! I will now be starting my fan-funding campaign in May (who would I be if I didn’t procrastinate?:) and will be sending the link to it then so stay tuned, I can’t wait to get these new songs OUT!!!!
THIS month, I’ll be playing with spectacularly awesome drummer Heather Thomas at THE HIGH DIVE,

In light of the the recent shooting at Sandy Hook school in Newtown,CN-I’m working on the only thing I could do that night-write a song…hope to post it here in the next day or so….given that my day job is in a school as a counselor,this past week was extremely difficult. Take a moment to send them love and light…

LAST MINUTE SHOW-Dec 22th Sat.at the Skylark in West Seattle- Songwriter Showcase- I’ll be doing an acoustic trio with Jeff Eason on bass and Size Sims on drums- Show starts at 9,we play at 11 for all you holiday night owls~

Also, please take a moment in your gift-giving this season to make a donation to World Wildlife Fund to help fight the increasing onslaught of poachers killing them for their ivory- yes, Ivory is back in demand in Asia…Extinction is forever~ It”s www.wwf.org. I plan on including them in my cd fundraising effort this spring as well so,stay tuned….on another front, if you haven’t *LIKED” my FB page, I still would LERVE to win the Guitar Center contest to meet producer Jon Shanks!! I wrote this song after a long-time friend seemed surprised at my attitude towards something- which made me think of how much you really can make assumptions that can kick your ass- or,worse, break your heart! But staying in the center of who you are is where it’s at~ Cheers!

Perhaps so, especially since all I ever see are increasingly desperate pleas to “Lookatme!!”" Checkout our music or we’ll keep bludgeoning you with bulletins!?” But the question remains- how DOES one get to the ears that might really be into your music?
